the Unbeatable
In October 2024, I was told I had incurable stage IV oesophageal cancer. I had two toddlers, a partner recovering from lung surgery, and a tumour so large I nicknamed it Dave – to make it less terrifying. But the story didn’t end where everyone expected it to. Killing Dave isn’t a miracle tale. It’s the fight, the science, the failures, the fury, and the unconventional path that led me back from the edge.
